For your consideration is this absolutely stunning vintage 1967 Omega Seamaster 300 ref: 165.024.
Serial: 24.2XX.XXX

 

This beautiful example was recently acquired from the son of the original owner.

The original owner, a US Army Second Lieutenant purchased the watch while stationed in South Korea in 1967.

Condition report: 

Case: The unpolished case shows some wear, yet remains sharp and in excellent shape. 
Dial: 100% Original Tritium dial in beautiful condition. Original Tritium plots in excellent shape with the most amazing patina. There is very little to no degradation to the lume plots. Overall, the dial is one of the nicest examples you'll find.
Hands: Original hands with stunning patina. 
Bezel: Original bakelite bezel is crack free. In beatiful shape sporting matching patina.
Bracelet: Original Omega 1039  bracelet dated to 1968. All spring links work. Bracelet shows minor stretch.
End links: Original 516 end links with orignial spring bars.
Movement: Omega Cal. 552 in super clean condition. Currently being serviced by our watchmaker.
Accessories: Omega Extract Of The Archives showing January 9 1967 Production date and  delivery to Japan. (Most goods sold in the Military PX were sourced by the US army in neighbouring countries as the Koreas were involveld in the DMZ conflict at the time).

Notes: This 165.024 Seamaster 300 is truely one of the nicest examples that have passed through my hands. The watch's history and provanance are just an added cherry on top!
