Condition report:


Dial: Original "Narrow T" MKIII Pre-Professional dial in flawless condition which is very hard to find on an Ed White. Original Tritium "Toothpaste" lume application is in fantastic shape and has developed lovely patina. The lume plots are in excellent shape showing only minor signs of deterioration.

Hands: Original Tritium hands in excellent shape. The hands match the dial perfectly.

Case: Symmetrical straight lug case. The case is unpolished. The case exhibits "Sleeve wear" where honest wear (of nearly 5 decades) has worn most of the factory brushed finish off the sides of the lugs. 
The lugs are fat and even and retain their original factory thickness and shape.

Crown & pushers: Original "Flat-foot" crown. Original pushers.

Bezel: Original "DON" (Dot Over Ninety) TACHYMETRE bezel in excellent condition. The bezels shows some wear as shown in pictures, but overall in great shape.

Bracelet: Original 1035 dated to the 3nd quarter of 1967 with #506 end links. Original spring bars.

Movement: Omega Cal 321. Last service history in 1979 according to the orignial owner.  The watch runs and all chrono functions work. Would benefiet from a service.

Accessories: Omega Extract Of The Archives confirms production date of January 17, 1968 and delivery to the United States.

Notes:  This example has been recently acquired directly from its original owner who received it as a gift from his father in 1969 when he was only 16 years old. His father was working on traning projects for NASA right before the moon landing so he decided to gift his son the "Astronaut's watch" just before his school trip to Euroupe! 

This is a fully provananced single owner example of the iconic 105.003 "Ed White" Speedmaster, and one not to be missed!
